Recommended location is approximately 610 mm away from inside face of the parapet to provide for proper roofing detail and evenly spaced around perimeter of building to suit the various stage drops.

Top of davit boom & trolley are designed suitably to allow platform to be swung over parapet. Roof rigged davits are designed for ease of 360 degrees rotation under load.

Davit arm bases & the structure to which they are attached are typically designed to a capacity of optimum impact with a factor of safety as per construction codes & upto 4 times the rated load against fracture or detachment i.e. 4 to 1 stability factor.

To prevent unwanted platform movement the use of TIE IN button/ detent pins are mandatory for permanent powered platform. Stabilization is recommended to protect building faces & Button/ detent pins are the most economical & practical form of tie in method.
